:yep Big Sammy looked pretty damn good there. Too bad his detractors can't help but look beyond their boring hero to see the new hero of the heavyweight division.

I wonder what the odds would be in a Peter-Wlad rematch.

I think a healthy Vitali would have an easier time with Peter than Wlad would.

See that to me is largely myth. Vitlay has never faced anyone who would press him like Sam does. If Vitlay had a name like Brewster on his record I might agree. But his best wins are Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams. Sam is much better than both of those guys.

Well, Vitali isn't as talented as Wlad, but the dude is a better defensive fighter than his brother, and he also has a GREAT CHIN.

How many times was Wlad down against peter? He didn't have an easy time with him. Did he?

I thought Wlad was down more than once. It has been awhile since I've seen this fight.

Peter put him down 3 times and made him clinch over 95 times in that fight, he also made Wlad have 2 panic attacks as well, it was Wlads hardest fight since Brewster in 04.

Okay kiddies, your guy finally beat a top 10 opponent by TKO ref stoppage.

He couldn't even knock Oleg down though, some power puncher :yep Oleg was doing pretty well there too considering his age & obviously loss of speed. The 2 of them looked like they were fighting underwater..........

I wouldnt talk, the Wlad/Iggy fight was one of the most boring title fights in years, at least Peter got the knockout and wasnt afraid to get hit like Wlad was against Iggy, you can really see the fear in Wlads eyes in that fight.:yep

Ouch... While both these guys were no more than fringe contenders in their best days they are still miles above Peter skillwise, especially Sanders. Sanders used to throw powerful, accurate, straight and fast hands something which Peter couldn't do if his life depended on it.

Samuel is the nearest thing to a future long term champ that we have..

He could be the man to initiate Unification.. Wlad is good but isn't mister exciting these days...
