From this list it has to be Naz, his Nike deal was huge at the time even though his 'american' career was somewhat short .. He didnt compare to Holyfield, Tyson or Oscar but of the guys on that list, it has to Naz ....

Was Roy a big selling star? Did he sell a lot of ppv? I heard his fight with Tito did 500K but it was his biggest selling ppv. I mean if that's true I would think Tito would also have made more he had big fights with Oscar and Bhop. I also think Bhop with all his title defences and his fights with Oscar and Tito. Along with Ricky (with his fight with Pacman) could have already or end up makeing more.

But I could be wrong I dont know if he was a big name outside the ring in his day as Im only 19 and I guess he had most of his biggest fights before I was a teenager(13). The only boxers I know were Tyson and ali. If he was a big name I guess he could have made some money outside the ring with deals with Nike.

sorry if my spellings bad Im sleepy and I dont really care.

I don't know about RJJ. What megafights did he have that paid him a lot outside of Ruiz? He was never a big PPV draw. Can anyone provide some evidence that he earned such and such?

The more I think about this, the more I reckon its Hatton. The guy has always been a big big draw, and earned a massive, massive purse for the Mayweather fight.

    Easy Peasy.

    De la Hoya

    Naseem Hamed

    Tyson

    Hatton

    Mayweather

Calzaghe doesn’t come close, he only started earning big bucks post Lacy. Hatton made more against Lazcano than Joes entire career.

From the list it must be Jones. He's been getting big paydays for at least 14 years now.

Hatton made well over £10m from the Mayweather fight, and will probably match that against Pacquiao.

Its Oscar by a mile, think of his last 4 fights alone, then think of his personal business…GBP, The Ring Magazine, the geezer is serious big bucks. I do agree Tyson and Holyfield are I there, but the boxers I have listed, I am pretty certain are in the right order. Does anyone have concrete lists?? Genuinely intrigued.
