I suppose you could make an argument that Chico was more dangerous, but is there anyone on his record that not only was dangerous, but brought the skilled intensity that Pascal brought? Keep in mind, he just beat Dawson...
a bit off-topic but the Chico win is laughabale considering that its the best win for a so-called ATG like Mayweather
But is the Mosley that Mayweather fought anywhere NEAR as dangerous as Pascal? Imagine if Mosley brought that type of athleticism and skill that Pascal brought.
Are you being serious? Pascal is not a fighter i would call dangerous neither does he bring that skilled intensity.
Are you crazy? Pascal doesn't have bad fundamentals. He's not that easy to hit clean, and he recently stole Dawson's heart and almost knocked him down in the process. You can say someone from Mayweather's resume is better, but there is no need to bring Pascal down in the process.
Hatton, Chico, Hernandez, Oscar are all great wins imo Mosley is a good win but I saw someone who was essentially done from round 3 on.
Not many...just Genaro Hernandez Jesus Chavez Diego Corrales Ricky Hatton Oscar de la Hoya Shane Mosley Juan Manuel Marquez Castillo but besides that...none.
You consider all those fighters better than Pascal? Hopkins described Pascal to be a very similiar fighter to Aaron Pryor. And while I understand Pascal is not Pryor, suppose Mayweather fought Pryor. If Mayweather were able to get passed Pryor, who would be his best win?
For real though... Who are those first two guys? Mayweather was in his prime against a smaller aggressive fighter in Hatton. A good win, but I don't it would be as good as Pascal. Shane Mosley a good win also, but way past his best. Marquez, terrible style match up going against Mayweather who was also the bigger and stronger man, and cheated on the scales. Castillo....come on......Mayweather should have never had a close fight with this guy in the first place.
his best win is Corales All others were handpicked. He still beat the guys he faced but he took the easy route. Does not mean he is not the most skilled but he was def too focused on the easiest route to $ and Zero losses.
I saw the Pascal fight as a good one from Hopkins when he impressed me, because it was a very hard fight and Hopkins could go down from any right hand that he landed, but I beleive the oscar fight was similiar to that since he was outweighed by a lot an Corrales was a big puncher and N'dou was even a big puncher and dangerous, but Floyd fight him in the pocket which is a ballsy move, but we saw the outcome. O yeah and didn't you see Floyd's last fight
