I think Gvozdyk will lose against someone good this year.Top Rank moves him too fast.Bob Arum thinks he can beat Kovalev, I would not be so confident about that.Knocked down by Karpency is not the good sign, he is not any Darnell Boon.Plus, I think he packs weak chin and he concentrates on smothering his opponent with his pressure too much.

Flanagan looks like the only one who'll take a loss, from that list. I heard Verdejo and Lomachenko rumoured as potential opponents for 2017.

    AJ wont lose against Wlad
    One time knocks Cherry out
Rigondeaux - only if he slipped real bad from inactivity, but dont think so
Barthelemy - he's good and probably wont get a super tough fight in 2017
Easter jr - will beat that russian brawler, forgot the name, then take it easy for the rest of the year
Granat - wont fight really anyone of note, so no
Dorticos - I think he'll beat Shumenov, after I dont know what he gonna do
The Nail - wont lose this year, and still wont fight for a championship at LHW, as that division seems gridlocked now

I will oppose you.Flanagan not gonna fight any other belt holder.Frank is just assuming he will fight them.Verdejo not gonna beat Terry, too limited, only Zepeda can beat him out of challengers.AJ/Klitschko,I am 50/50 on this fight right now. is a toss up fight.Dorticos will fight Lebedev.Granat will lose against someone half decent if he is active this year.Gvozdyk/Barrera would be a toss up a fight but I think he will fight for the title this year and will lose.

    Lomachenko would absolutely destroy Rigondeaux!

Rigo is completely there for the taking, hes getting almost stopped by Japanese guys. His chin is extremely fragile, hes inactive and hes getting very old. If this mexican prospect is any good then hes going asleep!

What about Dillion Whyte? According to Twitter, He is the King of South London, a 22 and 0 underdog fighting his way to the top.

I think Gvozdyk wins that, Barrera has been down too and he's not as good a boxer as Gvozdyk.

If Gvozdyk does fight for a title in 2017, who would it be against? Ward/Kovalev are still tied up, and Gvozdyk and Kovalev are friends and not too keen on fighting each other. Can't see Ward taking a voluntary against Gvozdyk. Beterbiev has no title. Gvozdyk is the mandatory for Stevenson after Alvarez/Bute, but Stevenson fights once a year and may fight Joe Smith instead anyway. And I reckon Gvozdyk has a good chance against a 40-yr old Stevenson, who doesn't have the greatest chin himself anyway. That leaves Cleverly, which is not a fight I've heard much about. And I'd pick Gvozdyk there.
