Who performed better against Maidana/ Mayweather or alexander?

That's not true by a long shot. The Maidana that fought Mayweather would have knocked Alexander out. When Maidana got with Garcia, he added to his boxing game in a huge way. He learned how to slip punches and his jab improved immensely. He was a far more rounded fighter when he fought Mayweather.

floyd v maidana 1 and 2 were more entertaining , the first fight i think floyd by 2 rounds or so (only watched it live). 2nd fight was a lot cleaner and clearly was more floyds fight

Maidana is a good fighter but never elite. Ok, I lie. Maidana did improve under Garcia. But Maidana's downfall even under Garcia was that he didn't know the concept of POINTSCORING.

If he knew something as simple as this, he would have beaten Mayweather at least 117-111.

 

Depends on if your talking May-Chino I or II the second fight looked like the Alexander fight, the first fight could be argued a draw depend on a few close rds.

Maidana is not a Great but this is just an attempt to underrated a pretty good fighter, Maidana has 2 losses to Mayweather and 3 loses otherwise.
in those 5 fight's the only ones you can't see Maidana winning was Alex/May II.

Kotelnik skated by with a close SD and the actual judges gave Maidana a draw or more rd vs Khan who was saved by a pt deduction and a knockdown.

look at Maidana's resume top to bottom it's one of the toughest in recent years at 140/147, you fanboys should look into reality sometimes smh.
