Maidana. I had Maidana winning the Kotelnik fight 115-113, while I scored Alexander-Kotelnik the same way in favor of Kotelnik.

Equal. I saw both fights 115-113 for Kotelnik, although if I had to choose I thought Maidana did better.

Maidana but I also noticed that he was able to have some success with the uppercuts plus he threw much more hooks than Devon. Kotelnik can block well but he couldn't block them all. Don't know why the hell Maidana was dancing in round 7 though lol.

the way i see it, maidana was able to fight his fight, he was able to land good shots on kotelnik and if it werent for andrei's chin he would have lost that night. i think kotelnik won, but it was because maidana couldnt hurt him.

alexander looked **** against kotelnik, he was supposed to be the next big thing and just looked like joe average. maidana was a kayo artist who went to was for twelve rounds and lost, but he didnt come off the fight any worse. alexander has clearly come off his fight worse.

It depends what way you look at it, Maidana got the fight he wanted, but lost. Alexander didnt and won, controversial yes, but still a win.

i agree with this statement. maidana was able to fight his fight, and this is something alexander couldnt do. yes alexander got the nod, but with different judges or, as bad as it is for the sport, if it was in a different country kotelnik could have gotten the nod. its a subjective sport.
