Not exactly sure how id rank them but the 4 biggest threats IMO are Bivol GGG Charlo and BJS. I still pick Canelo against all 4 but they all stylistically pose some issues for Canelo and would make decent scraps. Charlo's youth and growing skill and experience and power may make him the hardest for Canelo I really loved how he evolved his Jab against Dervyenchenko but at the moment id still pick Canelo. I rate Plant and Benavidez as well but I think Plant has too little power to make Canelo respect him and Benavidez is too slow and doesn't move his head enough but they still have a bit of time to develop. Andrade's footwork may prove tricky for Canelo too but honestly I haven't seen enough of Andrade that would make him a credible threat to Canelo.

The guys on DAZN were saying he would need to go to light heavy to maybe find a challenge, and nobody sounds all that convinced that he can't beat a Beterbiev or Bivol.

So...do we then start talking cruiser or is that just plain crazy?

The one thing in Canelo's favor and the reason it might actually not be that crazy is that CW has thinned out lately with all its real monsters (Briedis, Gassiev, and Usyk) moving up. Sure there are some daunting asks left in their wake, but Canelo vs. Dorticos is a lot more reasonable than versus any of the guys that went to heavy.

I wouldn’t say Benavidez is slow. He loads up on some punches but he throws pretty fast combos to finish. But I wear glasses so maybe my sight is off.

Plant appears box in slow motion next to Canelo....and he tires easily.

    Cruiser? Lol

Let's just go all the way then...Wilder can drop to 200, make it happen.

LHW poses a big challenge....Kovalev was a good win but let's not get carried away here.
Guys like Pascal can beat Canelo, stylistically and power wise he would create tons of problems for Canelo.

An hypotethically competent and not corrupt anti-doping agency.

Or anyone who's bigger than him. It'd be the first time in his career.

    Stop it plz

    They both use PEDs

And theres nothing wrong with that

Its ok. Fury is still really good but nandralone is a steroid known better as "Deca" which is was created from testosterone which is naturally in the body but is not technically a steroid. Steroids dont just pop up in your body

Clenbuterol for humans is used as a fat burner and in cows to bulk them up. Its really not anything for performance

I agree with the poll which says Golovkin or Benavidez.

GGG has the skills but is old.
Benavidez has the size and the youth but is less skilled.

Either way they are the two biggest threats to him.
