Ive seen that Murad Muhhamed guy in a couple of his fights, but im not sure who promoted him through most of his career, he was obviousley hot property, so i was wondering was he ever linked up with any of the big dogs? Or was he self promoted like SRL? Its a shame cuz i always thought Roy would have been the perfect partner in GBP along with Tyson if they never slumped so much.
Murad Mohammed ,I think Arum had him for a breif stint and even King but for the most part he was self promoted .Side note Mohammed also had Pacquio at one point ..
Um no and hoenstly that was more of Roy's fault ..I may be wrong on the Arum part ..I think he had interest in Jones but never really promoted him..I think if he had a guy like Bob he would have been a bigger star than he was ..
Whats crazy is that that fight did around 500k in PPV ..Imagine if he had a promoter the likes of King or Arum ...Hell look at what King did for Tito ..the man was making 10 mil per fight back in the day garunteed .
King also had Hopkins for a lil while and after the Jones IBF MW vacant title fight since he was close to Butch lewis. It all seems to point to Murad Muhammad who since he lost Razor Ruddock in the eraly 90s and was not succesful in one of many Holyfield's comebacks, is really sucking on tiny teet. But I believe yes like Imperial said, at the beggining he was self promoted alongside with his father until they splitted.
