Foreman’s chin did not get better as he got older. Ali stung Foreman early in their fight because he was a faster puncher than Holyfield. He was able to land punches that George did not see coming which also made a greater impression.

Overall Ali has better knockout wins at heavyweight.

Probably the best Knockout Holyfield has is the one over Douglas. But that had no greater impact than Ali knocking out Foreman or Liston or Miteff or Lavorante or Foley or Cleveland Williams or Bonavena or Lyle or Wepner.

So without measuring the best punch from either fighter that has to be the bottom line. Ali has better knockout wins.

Exactly. I always recommend the first round as proof that Ali totally made his mark on George from the beginning.

That look of intense DISDAIN on his face...Ali was not only not afraid of George, he obviously looked down on him far more than he ever did Joe. Ali comes across in the first round like he's the champ imo, and looks that way through a lot of the fight.

The commentators were stunned by how good Ali looked, practically throughout.

Ali was ready to take that crown, and it showed.
