Edit: Ike wasn’t around long enough for me to make any determination. Both he and Ruddock could hit though.

Clearly Ruddock. Ike had a real modern HW punch, but as Tyson said "he hit like a fu%*ing mule".
Although even with only a 20-0 record, Ike showed enough that I believe he was better than Ruddock.

Ruddock.....Ike seemed more like a boxer puncher .....the first couple of times I saw Ike Ibeabuchi I said “ He’s Evander Holyfield with a higher work rate “

Still waiting for this elusive mythological opponent Ike knocked out that convinced so many people he's a h2h monster with unbelievable punching power.

Stopping a guy like Byrd looks impressive on paper considering Byrd was a slippery slick HW with the skills to hang with men larger than him. But when you consider Byrd debuted at 169 lbs soaking wet as a grown man 22 years of age, was giving up nearly 40 lbs when he fought Ike, and was stopped 3x in other fights, I'm not sure that this is some incredible benchmark to bust a nut over. Especially when you consider that Byrd is inarguably Ike's best win and best knockout.

Ruddock didn't have the greatest resume either but he obliterated 2 ex HW champs who were actual heavies over 200+ lbs. He also had Morrison on the canvas badly hurt and rocked a prime Tyson with his punches. Based on the eye test that's far more credible in terms of demonstrating power.

I have never seen a fighter get more mileage out of 1 KO than Ike.

For pure punching power, it has to be Ruddock. Some of his knockouts are insane.

I like Ruddock to have more one punch power.. Just.
Head to Head, I go Ike, even tho Ruddock the more proven.

Razor has a lot more runs on the board and is the obvious choice.

My man I agree that Russock clearly hit harder.
But we need a more balanced analyses.
Ruddock still lost those 3 fights you referred to. And was stopped each time.
You also have to consider how often a guy was stopped or how good their record was...When they fought a guy.
Byrd was stopped 3 other times? Ruddock was stopped more often, that does not mean that stopping him was meaningless or he stank.

Also Byrd was certainly not "inarguably" Ike's best win-Tua was prime & undefeated.

    Razor hit harder.
But at least because he abandoned boxing for a low workrate "smash" seeking offensive strategy...
Ike was better in his prime.

Ike's career was limited, but he still proved a lot while he was active.
A high-octane/volume big skilled boxer puncher, he was an elite fighter...Until he went Mad.
