    Alexis.

I respect all that has been said about Duran's power. The shots an The Shot that he touched Pryor with shocked Pryor's body to the point he could not fall forward or backward, he just frozed except his head that touched his shoulder blades. Olivares was banging Alexis around all night, then a shot outta nowhere finished everything. Rooney. Who was he kidding slugging with Alexis? Alexis banged around with him for a while and then a combination from the land a of beauty put him in his place. Mancini. Mancini was looking good for a while, not winning but hanging tough....then outta nowhere, again..a hook, right, bodyshot uppercut, which momentarly paralyzed him...then as the ref is trying to save Ray's life a finishing right put him down.

Duran hit many men, with many hard flush shots. None of them ever reacted like these guy did when Alexis hit them. Keep in mind that Duran was hitting these men while slipping a shot they threw and coming back with a hard countershot simutaniously while they were wide open and exposed. If you gave Alexis Duran's slip and countering skill, he would have killed all the men I named.

    Literally.

Duran smashed people like a little wrecking ball on a big wall.

Arguello had explosive pop. Dynamite that blew your brains and ribs up. Look no further than his intense one-shot on Kevin Rooney for that proof. He just reached out and a bomb went off on Rooney's chin, leaving him cross-eyed and hyperventilating. From a straight punch, no less. No giant hook clipping and spinning the head, but a genuine battering ram down the pipe.

Mega love for Manos, but Alexis had real and scary one-punch power.

Roberto Duran's is starting to get into the Mike Tyson catagory for me. When I see his name bought up, I know he is going to be the best in the conversation. If he matched up with someone he is going to win.

    Power? Duran.
    Vs. Greb? Duran.

I actually think Duran earned the benefit of the doubt in most situations but I would like much more explaination when he comes out on top of a conversation. If not, it start to look like hero worship.

I'd say if it were a single punch, I'd give the edge to Arguello, but Duran never threw many single punches.

Duran hit hard with both hands and he was more fluid than Alex who could also bang with both hands...I seen AA KO kevin Rooney in MSG I believe on the under card of Ali-Shavers, it was a rocket of a right hand but Duran was heavy handed...hands of stone
