who punches harder carl froch or kelly pavlik?

Probably froc, since he's the bigger fighter.

 

I would say Pavlik based on the fact that he has actaully knocked out some World class level fighters, and Froch has barely even faced any.

 

The OP asked the wrong question. The question should be; who punches more effectively? Or, who is the superior KO artist?

Zuniga: stopped in 9 even though he has a head luck a ****ing rock.

McKart: Faded but still damn good in '06. Rarely down, never stopped in 54 fights. Pavlik KO6 McKart.

Zertuche: Damn good contender in 05-07. Riuned by two wars with zuniga and a beating from KP. KOed for the first time by Pavlik in 8.

Miranda: Once considered a monster. Took Arthur's best shots in their first fight. Pavlik KO7 Miranda.

Taylor: Undefeated, undisputed middleweight champion of the world. Pavlik KO7 Taylor.

I'd say Pavlik, based on the competition he has faced and subsequently stopped. It's hard to say with Froch because his level of competition has been poor, although I do think he carries power.

 

more then likely it's Froch, seeing as he's the bigger guy with a good punch.....Pavlik has a good punch too but, he's only a MW......plus we've seen how effective his power is at anything above 160
