Sanders' strengths were excellent accuracy and fast hands. Also he wasn't gunshy. He went after you if he thought he hurt you, sometimes carelessly. That left hook that hit Vitali was the most shaken and wobbly I've ever seen him. Even those two uppercut bombs from Vitali didn't turn Vitali's knees into jelly; Sanders dry left hook right on the sweet spot did.
yep he could never decide whether he wanted to be a golfer or a fighter. That guy had some real potential. And he was far more dangerous of a puncher than Haye.
Corrie Sanders had the technical and physical advantages standing at head level with Klitschko and coming from left field. David Haye delivers the punch with a lot of speed and accuracy and power is the result of speed and strength, not just impact alone like the sniper produced. I tell Haye hits Wlad in between the eyes and it's over.
Honestly, Lewis had Vitali in all sorts of trouble. That uppercut on Vitali took nearly everything away from him and if it wasn't for him holding on for dear life and Lewis knackered, he would have been KO'ed for sure. As for Sanders, he does have good power but he is very limited with only the left hook. Although he is more powerful, Haye has power in both hands.
I remember reading that he never really had professional managent/promotion nor a full-time dedication for full time boxing due to the lack of money. Between fights he was employed working as a cop in his hometown Pretoria. I recently read he may lose his farm in South Africa after having to pay up debt after a legal dispute with his former trainer.
