here is a question for Beeston Brawler

out of a 100% how much would you rate Haye more powerful

    for example

if they both punched the same 50% to 50%

if Haye punched slightly more powerful - 55% to 45%

out of 100% - what proprtion is Haye more powerful??????

Haye punches harder than Enzo, but this was never really in question. They both punch hard, but only at their respective levels. Enzo is simply not in the same class as Haye.

But Warren said Enzo was hardest pound for pound puncher on the planet

and I rember Enzo saying he was a harder puncher than Haye

Enzo said if he hit someone on the chin - its over - no questions asked

he also said he could kill a man with one punch

Boxing Monthy described him as the crusierweight (with a heavyweights punch) - when asked who he thought would win the upcoming fight between

Vitlai Klitshko and Danny Williams -

    Enzo replied

"I dont think much of either of them to be honest"

Enzo dismissed Vitali like he was nothing - but he was a monster puncher too

I would have to see a bit more of Enzo against decent opposition to make an informed judgement. He may have had a few more 'world' title fights and supposed better opponents than Haye had faced, but was clearly not ready as a fighter for Haye.

Now - nothing against Enzo, but for him to realise his full potential and get the respect of the fight fraternity, he needs to leave Warren and the WBO title behind. To me, there is nothing wrong with losing a few if you are at the elite level - rather than beating Championship or League 1 level fighters.

For instance, Glen Johnson is about 48-12 or something, yet has beaten top class opposition in his career whilst losing to some as well. Contrast this with say, Roman Greenberg (extreme I know) who is about 30-0 but faced well, nobody.

The obsession with remaining undefeated is ruining boxing. Whoever it is that is driving it, whether it be media, TV, promoters - needs to stop, and quick.

Losing to a couple of bums never did Rafa Marquez, Manny Pac or Margarito any harm. Why should that be the case with the likes of Amir Khan, Kevin Mithell or Paul Appleby?

    Bravo

And it was actually the making of Benn... Haye even... and losing valiantly told us so much about Eubank too...

This thread - I shouldn't answer ANOTHER flippin Enzo thread, but I will. I think they have power in different punches.

If I had to choose between a Haye straight right or an Enzo body shot, I'd choose 'run'.

But overall Haye has and will always have the better KO % and I suspect he'll keep that up at heavy.

I think Haye's speed will earn him a lot of stoppages at heavy, because the guys aren't particularly fit or mobile, whilst David is.

Good point Trotter, but I suppose the guys Benn and Haye lost to weren't bums!

yeah but apparantly Enzo only lost to Swaby because he had been out drinking the night before and was still hung over in the ring  :rofl :patsch

I must admit that is one of the most far fetched excuses I have ever heard

Apparently Leeds are in League 1 because of a referee, and that the team bus was late every week.

If you believe Enzo's excuse for that one you would believe anything
