Who put on the better performance against Usyk? AJ or Fury?

Fury.

Usyk basically cruised past Joshua both times with maybe 1 or 2 shaky rounds across the 24.

I felt he had to dig deeper here. Fury was looking comfortable and in control for the middle chunk of this fight.

 

He did in round 12 of the first fight. Usyk let him off the hook.

 

Tyson Fury show boated way to much, probably cost him the fight to be fair because he handed the first round to Usyk but Fury dominated rounds 3-6, AJ probably lost all 24 rounds bar a few.

 

Fury. It actually looked like he was in control before Usyk busted his nose open in the 7th.

 

Fury. Fury dismantled and dominated Usyk until that lucky nose punch.

 

AJ never looked like winning

Fury got chased around the ring, was out boxed and out punched but crucially he was literally battered from pillar to post, staggering round like drunken zombie and was saved from being Knocked Out by the ref

 

Fury probably but if it would have been waved off in the 9th like it easily could have been it would have been AJ.

Usyk beat both clearly though.

Out of 10 it’s like Fury 5/10 and AJ 4/10 or something

He grabbed the mic and announced that he won the fight!

 

Usyk tee'd off on AJ in the first round of their first fight. You could see he had far more respect for Fury right from the opening bell.

I can't see any argument for AJ other than the GOAT speech he made after the second fight.

Even if Fury had been KO'd in 9 he'd still made it a competitive fight until that point. AJ was literally never ahead of Usyk in either fight. You could use the same argument that Tua gave Lewis a tougher fight than Vitali because he saw the bell. No point seeing the bell if you don't take any chances at winning.

 

Usyk that fought Joshua, if that version had fought Fury, he would have won this one by a wider margin. I think the Joshua 2 performance was a better one based on the version of Usyk he was facing. That and Fury was out on his feet in Round 9.

I always thought that Fury would be the one to come out on top, right up to Wilder 3. But it became clear he was pissing his talents away. I think Fury loses to Joshua too now as well.

Usyk is #1 in their peer group. We will have to wait and see who #2 is.

That was embarrassing from Fury, he said he thought he won the fight and that Usyk only won because his country is at war.
Usyk must think the Brits are the worst losers of any nation

Fury clearly because i actually thought he could possibly stop Usyk after 6 rounds Usyk looked uncomfortable and i had Fury up 4-2 so i was worried at that point.

But all credit to Usyk for showing a warriors heart to keep coming forward against the bigger man to win clearly in the end.
