    Heroic doesn't mean that he beat him like Lewis and Byrd, heroic means balls to the wall and face a 6'7'' tall motha like you are walking on the sidewalk - Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams, I must say. Arreola, Briggs and Peter fought stupid fights so they weren't heroic at all, just stupid. Gomez tried to box with him and was finished soon. Adamek tried to punch with him and was punished for being a small guy tryin to bring down a tree.

    I'd say Byrd (toughed it out and lucked out with Vitali's injury) or Sanders (gave Vitali some problems and took a savage beating).

    Lewis put up a good fight - managed to win 2 rounds.
     
  8. Shannon hasnt been in too many wras in his life having ended 30 of is fights by KO1.
    He took a beating that night yes but he is coming back in march. I love Shannon and he's even from my neighborhood.

    I'm amazed nobody mentioned Arreola. He basically came after him for 10 rounds.

    The 12th round against Briggs was unsettling to watch live. I honestly felt like I wasnt watching a boxing match, but a man being beat to death. Shame on the ref and his corner..
