Who ranks ahead of Riddick Bowe respective two/three wins over Evander Holyfield?

Im only talking about better wins that came after that fight ?

 

So none is the answer ? lol .. Bowes win over Hollafeld is the best win from 1992 - now

 

Rahman over Lewis. Although you could argue a KO doesn't prove as much as a clear decision.

 

I was just exaggerating some so to poke fun at the size of some of today's heavies.

 

His first win over Holyfield is one of the best wins in heavyweight history.

His second win I am a bit skeptical of.

 

It certainly could be argued. But then they say Lewis was distracted by featuring in a star studded Holywood production .

Bowe and Holla were undefeated , both at their best and both very determined to win

 

Just look at the rematch Lennox poleaxed Rahman lol look where his head landed ........poetic justice

 

I did have ve-e-ery careful caveats in that post.

 

I suppose if we were only ranking fighters in their best TWO wins then Bowe would rank quite high. But that isn’t the reality. Iran Barkley would rate pretty damn high too if that were the case

 

I don't think Holmes was nearly as bad as Ali for Leon, though. Holmes matured later, aged well, and this was long before he faced even Tyson.

I could see the argument being made that it was equivalent to Norton beating Ali the first time or two, though.

 

I think it just adds how much heart those warriors had back in the day, maybe not that good of a elite win but it was a full 15 rounder brawl with both fighters past it and I think it should be noted.
