That was a typo? That was the fight in Manila. Anyone out of shape in there with that Foaming out of his mouth version of Frazier would have been food by the 6th or 7th round.
Ali threw punches from opening belly like he never had before or would again. I believe still a punch output record. On a morning the ring might have been well over 100.
Ali said after winning that if he hadn't been in such outstanding shape he would have lost. He said that while laying in the ring .

Patterson is not a top 10 elite heavyweight, but he is still a great fighter and is in the hall of fame.

Nah besides Bowe Holyfield has Thomas, Dokes, Douglas, old Foreman, old Holmes, Ray Mercer, Mike Tyson 2x, Ruiz and Rahman on his resume, and he got absolutely robbed against Valuev at the age of 46, thats a stacked resume.

Bowe has a thin resume though  but it's not THAT bad
Besides Holyfield he has Herbie Hide, and Larry Donald

The first win over Holy was great, but Holy didn’t look well when Bowe beat him in the third.

    So with that in mind:

Ali, but then it gets harder. No one else stand out.

Im sorry- but Holyfield is a lock for the top ten he’s in my top 5. Patterson was small- fragile and while an idol of mine no great (H2H) HW. Clearly Bowe’s wins are A LOT superior.

I more have a problem with the premise and conclusion in general. Somebody could beat a great fighter x2 because his style was perfect, or works great against that fighter; yes lose to lesser fighters, because his style and skills aren't the same when faced with other styles. That is why a body of work is important, because it can help to mitigate the above potential variable. Not only is their a style factor, but other variables which can be subjective, say for instance, was Holyfield in his best condition for Bowe three, didn't seem so to me. Was he as smart in understanding when to brawl and when not to, say for instance as in their second fight, I don't think so. Some might even consider me more of a head to head kind of guy, but even then, I'm looking and the bigger picture, not just the two best wins, especially against the same guy.

For me, it would be too many subjective variables to count 2 wins over the same great fighter with as much weight as you seem to. That said, they are very good wins.

Bowe could probably rate somewhere in the mid 20s but its subjective because we don't really know where he ranked in his own era given he largely failed to face his contemporaries

So we can rate Riddick Bowe ahead of Sonny "Two Time Patterson" Liston ?

He got one loss to Holy in like 4X bouts. Beat him two times among other wins. Why so low?

Because he didn't fight other top guys like Lewis, Tyson, McCall, Witherspoon, Moorer, etc. It's easier to avoid losses when you skip out on virtually every top fighter of your era.

The other guys he was beating were largely journeyman/gatekeepers. His best wins aside from Holyfield are probably Tubbs and Golota. There is a massive drop in quality after Holyfield.
