I voted Mosley but Castillo has a debatable win over Floyd Mayweather jr.

aw man great thread. 2 of my all time favs. jlc hands down has the better resume, but shane did look unbeatable, even tho vs. mediocre opposition. i'd like to think at their peaks jlc might be the superior fighter and give him the benefit of the doubt with his controversial loss to floyd, but shane was much more aggressive than floyd and is pretty much oscars equal imo. jlc not a great technician, but a great brawler-puncher. if these 2 ever fought i think jlc lures shane into a fight and both punch equally as strong, but with shane's punches getting there before castillo's, beating him to the punch. close one, but i gotta give it to shane based on his victories over oscar, who i think also beats jlc at lightweight

Or alternatively you can shut the **** up and stop reading them, and leave the knowledge to those who have it.

Hey Dinamita, thanks for calling me out in your original post you little ****. :D

If I remember correctly, we did discuss Mosley's resume and at the end of our discussion I did take my rose colored glasses off and said that Shane's resume at lightweight wasn't all that GREAT.

In the end, Castillo has the better resume at lightweight but I think Mosley was the better lightweight and better fighter all time. They both probably rank somewhere between #12-15 all time lightweight.

Castillo has the best lightweight resume since Whitaker.

    Mosley is better toe-to-toe.

That pretty much says it for me, Mosely was the more talented lightweight and would win h2h, but JLC has the better lightweight CV.

Seems like it's becoming the common thought.
