Who ranks higher all time? Oscar or Hopkins?

B-Hop...and it ain't close IMO.

 

Who knows. Oscar seems to come up short against Hopkins. Hopkins kept fighting better guys and fighting better as he got older, and Oscar fought worse and started handpicking as he got older.

Hopkins has been great. At first I thought to have voted for Hopkins but then I thought, damn, who had Hopkins fought recently that was his own size? Calzaghe, and he lost. His wins over Hoya, Trinidad, Wright, and Pavlik, were wins over smaller guys and fights he was supposed to win. Now before you start talking about what the experts had to say I will just say this; I consider myself a fan of the sport, not an expert by any means, but I even knew Pavlik had no chance against the Fox.

I say B-hop ranks a tad bit higher. Oscar has a lot of big names on his resume but then again how many of those big names has he beat? Having big names on your resume isn't enough or mean much if you haven't beat them. If that were the case Mayorga would be up there 2 You mention that Hopkins beat guys that he was SUPPOSED to beat/smaller guys but Oscar couldn't even pull that off. Manny was smaller yet he got beat and IMO he didn't beat Felix Sturm who he was "SUPPOSED" to beat. And this is all belts aside.

had oscar KO'd tito the way bhop did, it maybe enough to ranked him above bhop

 

i'd say Oscar's resume is better and he achieved alot more in his prime

but B-hop has longevity which is something that Oscar lacks, but even so i'd still say it's Oscar

Oscar's best wins are Quartey, Whitaker, Vargas, and probably Mayorga.

Hopkins's best wins are Trinidad, Pavlik, Tarver, Wright.


All things considered, I think Hopkins's best wins are better.
