Who ranks higher all time?Whitaker,Jones or Mayweather?

Mayweather is already on that level if not surpassed the Fab 4.

He's a top 10 ATG fighter

 

I will ignore that they are PED cheats and none of them rank at all, but I'd go:

1. Whitaker
2. Jones Jr
3. Mayweather

Jones went from MW to HW and won a belt there.

That hadn't been done in 108 years!

Plus he's the best ever at SMW. Arguably at MW and LHW, too.

Has wins over ATG's in James Toney and Bernard Hopkins.

Jones. By a country mile.

Whittaker was around in the wrong era, he was unlucky.

 

I think all three of them were a case of being "too good for their own good", as in nobody in their era was really on their levels.

Jones started career at LMW and won a title at HW.

Accomplishments aside, his raw ability was superior to either. He could literally do things in the ring that no one else has ever been able to do

 

When I rank fighters based off their career I only go Prime vs Prime which I assume everyone else does when it comes to ATG rankings.

Roy Jones in his prime would not lose to any fighter in the history of the sport from 175 down. Simple as that and he beats several heavyweights from the old school who are in the smaller scale of that division.

 

Who ranks highest P4P?

 

No Jones does.

His wins over Hopkins and Toney far surpass Mayweather.

All three great fighters that Floyd fought were past their prime.

 

Pacquiao from 2001-2009 was a monster.

Wins over Barrera and Marquez are legendary.

So don't say nobody was on his level.

 

They are all pretty close say top 30s to 40. But I'd put Whitaker first, then Jones, followed by Mayweather.
