Rocky ranks higher but I think Evander wins H2H.

Outside of the silly size whoring you lot seem very vested in, without, mind, a scrap, not an iota, of any biological understanding to be found in any of your mumbo-jumbos, and the likewise silly age logical fallacy that doesn't hold up to scrutiny for ****, Marciano's is faced with the unfortunate fact he is a cold war champion during maybe the height of cold war propaganda and red scare mentality.

The size debate is stupid on a lot of fronts. If you're making Rocky a modern fighter then he's not a HW and no do not give me there's no minimum ****. There is. There is in fact set laws on how much disparity between fighters can be period even in the upper end of HWs. Butterbean dealt with it heaps. So you're either making Marciano bigger or you're changing rules to make him applicable. It's a whole lot of fantasy writing.

The age issue is like, well, yeah, at first, then when anyone actually looks how old Ezzard was or what happened to Archie after, it's got less merit. Take into account Walcott at the height of his game despite his age and it's just a silly problem to have.

But that cold war **** is real. youse should run with that more and run with made up bull**** that sounded good to you so you repeated it less.

 I voted Marciano, but Holy has plenty of great reasons to vote for him. Marciano's era being smaller isn't one.

I'm not aware of these set of laws. Do you have a source that details them? If there are any, I assume that they either - 1) Don't apply universally; or 2) The disparity that is outlawed is substantial, given Valuev had over 105lbs on Barrett.

What a strange thing to say. Even if I was, why does being young preclude one from having a knowledge of older fighters. Johnson is in my top 5 of all time. Marciano doesn't even make my top 10, neither does Dempsey. Only an opinion man, and only mine...but I'd not say to someone who rates Rocky 'Oh, you must be old...', I'd assume they had a reason to do so and would provide an argument for him being there. And I'd respect their opinion even if I didn't agree with it. Horse for courses I guess...

And any Holyfield fan is probably well into their 40s by now....Rocky last fought 70 years ago, you would need to be 80 years old to remember his era, I doubt many on here lived through that any more than I did in which case we all have access to the same info.

Marciano is higher, Evander was 26-10 as a heavyweight and that was being juiced to the gills

Is this the 28 year old Holyfield who was a natural 190lber that takes on Rocky?
If so it'd be a helluva fight and one I'd lean towards Marciano for the win ever so slightly, as I doubt Evander could avoid a
total brawl as the rounds go by and being in range of Rock's power is far beyond what Evander ever caught at that weight.
