Not imo. Two reasons: Foreman didn’t bother defending and Moorer wasn’t very good and had a weak chin. Tucker and Spinks were better than Moorer.

Holyfield had some health problems around Bowe/Moorer from PEDs. Anyway, I think Holyfield was on a different level. Nobody else put on that kind of muscle, lost their hair, and got a heart condition.

Some react differently to others, others take different PEDs.

I can guarantee Bruno was on something a lot better then Evander.

Bruno was a bigger guy only put on about twenty pounds. Evander gained around 30.

Hard to get lucky if you don't stay in the fight. Foreman was willing to throw punches regardless of the situation. Tyson couldn't get lucky cause he wasn't willing to let his hands go. The difference being George was there to win, Tyson at that stage was there for the paycheck. He fought hard about a round and a half vs Lewis..

It was actually 4 punches in a row. 1-2 1-2. That was skill, experience, power late. Impressive.

You mean the 4 lucky punches that ended the fight?

It was only 1 punch that landed/took out Moorer, not 4.

It's Foreman for me but i wouldn't lose sleep with anyone arguing it close or easing with Tyson.

What Foreman did (failing to defend) after winning the title is a separate discussion. We're talking about title winning efforts.

Moorer had 3 KO losses and 2 of those were against 2 of the hardest hitters in the division's history. So that's both a wrong and an irrelevant point.

Moorer had a better resume at HW than both Spinks and Tucker. This isn't really debatable.

Facts of the matter are that an old man beating a prime undefeated opponent is more impressive than a gifted fighter like Tyson surrounded by an elite team and promoter picking off fairly average paper belt holders and old men. Tyson has no signature title winning efforts better than Frazier or Moorer.

Because he literally said he was going to bait him before the fight.

    Moorer's own trainer warned him

Foreman threw a very sneaky right hand that he hadn't thrown before the final knockout blow. He got Moorer to stand in front of him.

This fight had been analyzed and broken down more than a dozen times on youtube. Educate yourself.

I still see it as a lucky punch. Moorer out-boxed him the whole fight. If he wouldn't have been that dumb to stand and trade at the end, he'd have won with ease, he was clearly in front on all scorecards.
It wasn't so much Foreman baiting him, as it was his stupid ego

But getting your opponent to fall into your trap is strategy, not luck.

Foreman was behind on the cards, but it was never his intention to win a decision. His plan from the beginning was to make Moorer overconfident and to stand in front of him. Which is what he did. And he threw a perfect shot down the middle, he wasn't just flailing around hoping something would land.
