The Lion and The Easton Assassin, who ranks higher?

No h2h or "who wins" comparison, this isnt that thread,

its who would YOU rank higher in a top 10 heavyweight all time list?

This one is difficult for me. On any given day, they trade places on my list. Even the H2H comparison you say don't do wouldn't help, because that fight could go either way.

I guess I'll rank Lewis ahead because of his uniqueness.

Flip of a coin for me. Both top 10 heavies but where they place is interchangeable. At the moment I’ll go with Lewis higher. Lewis’s resume is pretty much spot on.

Ahh, what an horrible question, so hard for me to pick between em. Their both up there, top of the mountain for me.

I belive I'll go ever so slightly, for Lewis. But my god, its close!

I have no problem putting one above the other or vice versa. 1) Ali 2)Louis 3) George Foreman 4) Lennox Lewis 5) Larry Holmes . You could rearrange that order and be justified imo.

Larry Homles. Longer run and not getting Kod twice by lower tier opposition.

I believe and I could be wrong that Lennox besides Rocky is the only heavyweight champion who beat every man he faced. That being said I have no problem putting one above the other.

Lennox has better single wins and was more dominant.

Larry faced the better opposition overall because his resume was stacked with a greater variety of fighters stylewise, and his losses werent as bad.

This. Plus, it always bothered me that Lewis never could consummately beat a very much past it Holy. The Holy who beat Mike twice was a significantly better fighter than the one whom fought LL, and even that guy had already been stopped by Bowe.
