Who has Floyd ever faced in his weight class even close to a Marquez.

The only things he has even close are Castillo and Corrales and as good as they are Marquez is miles above them.

I like Marquez, but I think we are getting all caught up with his almost wins with Pac. I really don't think Marquez is miles ahead of either. It seems to me that Marquez has gotten better with age. A Marquez fight with Castillo would be close at 135 and I am speaking of Marquez of that time. Chico may lose, but you can never count him out ala the Castillo fight. Pac could have lost to either of the two due to not being the fighter he is now which is a whole new ballgame.

first off, Quartey and Whitaker he lost, now if you wanna say he won then take the Strum win from him which would only make him a 5 weight class champ. Chavez was old as hell, but he lost to Mosley 2 times, ran like a ***** against Tito, barley won 4 rounds against Mayweather and got destroyed by Hopkins and little as Pacquiao. how the hell is he in front of Pac and PBF??

Yea he may get a little overrated due to his fights with Pac. But he's stiil done big things before and after Pac. To go above his comfortable weight and still take out big guns at 135.

Even without Marquez he demolished a prime Barerra and is a 4 weight lineal champ.

Hard to say how they would have fared with Chico or Castillo just because in their primes they were bigger guys. But I think Juans accuracy and ability to adjust would prevail.

    Oscar #1 one..

PBF and Pac undecided. They are still active. If they both retired today? That's tough, but I'd say Floyd because he's undefeated, but it's close. Both guys need a few more key fights to overtake Oscar's legacy.

As far as resume goes I'd have Pac first followed by Hoya and Floyd. I'm looking at their big wins and big fights they did good in. Floyd has the talent just not the resume in my eyes.

As for Hoya. Sturm, Quartey,Whittaker,Mosley2 were all very close fights. The Tito fight wasn't even close. People were just never used to seeing Hoya on the backpedal like that. So the judges somehow gave that fight to Tito.
For the Mayweathr fight it was also very close against an aging unaccurate Hoya who couldn't pull the trigger or properly cut off the ring. I felt Floyd won a very close fight, However I was watching with peiople who felt Oscar did enough.

For me De la hoya is the only ATG in that list
aslong as pac keeps going on about catch weight fights and floyd doesnt fight some legit welters i wont have no respect for them

Thats why nobody can take your post serious when you say **** like " Mayweather fight also was very close" WHO THE **** THOUGHT THAT FIGHT WAS CLOSE???:patsch:patsch Damn rookies, learn abouyt boxing then come back. that fight wasnt close at all, I think 116-112 for Mayweather is being nice. all this SD is all BS because you know he had to have 1 GBP judge there.

Man Haters never seem to amaze me. Its PBF and its not close. We have been talking about PBF being a all time great forever now. Pac is better then PBF cause he beat David Diaz, a shot and i mean shot Oscar, and Hatton I don't think so. People over rate Pac cause he has had some exciting fights but PBF beats everyone so easy minus Castillo first fight that it looks like he is never trying. PBF has beat more people that went on to win titles and better comp people just hate.

OK then since Oscar is ****. Which is Floyds best win in recent history. Are you saying Floyd hasn't beaten anybody worth **** in the last seven years also.
