I say Haye, more fun and explosive fighter plus 2 weight division champion. Ward is good but nothing stands out...
Haye and its not really in question In 24 fights Haye had won the WBC WBA WBO Ring CW titles and the WBA HW title and often as the away fighter. Clearly Haye
joke of a thread, haye is some way behind, even though wards division still hasn't reached full strength, nor has CW.
unification and beating the number 1 guy in the next division doesn't stand out to you. ok, that says a lot about u.
Clearly Ward. Haye getting stopped by The Cat would be like Ward getting stopped by Boone. Did Ward get stopped by Boone? Froch is a better win than anybody Haye beat.
Um .. Ward is P4P#21. Haye is P4P#259. Both are not Top 20 fighters but Ward ranks definetly higher and he deserved it. Not sure if any of them will become a Top 20 fighter again though. I doubt it.
Hmm, two has beens. Ward is much higher though, as Haye never came even close to dominating his division the way Ward did.
Haye got stopped by a world class CW in his 11th fight. A massive punching CW who had been a world champ and was coming off a good win. Haye was very convincing before he seemed to gas. When was Ward ever the away fighter like Haye in a big fight? When was Ward travelling to the champs home ground? When was Ward beating a title holder something like 7 stone heavier? You are going on about an early loss, but Im sure have argued that a loss doesnt mean anything. Well obviously it does but in 24 fights Haye had won WBC WBA WBO Ring CW titles and the WBA HW title which outweighs it all
