Hearns, and it's not even close (and I'm no Hearns fan).

    - The four wins you have named for Tommy are ALL better than ANY of Floyd's wins.

    - Hearns at light-middle was a better fighter h2h than Floyd was at superfeather or anywhere else

    - Hearns's achievement of winning the lhw title beats anything Floyd has achieved

    - Hearns was the better weight-jumper

    - Hearns also has a win over Ray Leonard, he won their second fight far more clearly and conclusively than Floyd "beat" Castillo 1st time out

    Not even close.

IMO, it's not even close. (+ I hate ranking fighter's)
Should be Thomas Hearns, simply based on his competition & his will to fight them.

People would be talking about him in an entirely different light. And dont forget that was a 15 round fight and if it was 12 rounds like today he would have won. All this talk about him having a terrible chin is nonsense if it was that bad SRL would have stopped him in the opening rounds.

The fight also showcases his abilities head to head and his speed, he was outboxing SRL and it was beautiful to see him work the jab like that. SRL was a tough mofo with a good chin and he pulled out all the stops but looking at the competition of the last 15 years I dont think anyone out there other than Bhop would have a chance at beating Hearns.

very hard to compare ,hearns was a monster ko king in the early rounds with great technical skills, but he fought in a much deeper talented era.pbf may be one of the best pure boxers ever but until he lays his heart out on the line (like many of hearns era)you got to say the hit man over pbf...

I've got Hearns but only by about 5-10 places. The H2H comparison is unfair on Floyd coming from a much smaller weight class.

Floyd is difficult because you've got to be an idiot to not see how vastly talented he is, but his resume is an embarrassment compared to other greats. A win over Pac makes him the greatest fighter of this time...that'll be enough to seal it for me.

I so wish we had a Hearns around today.....he is my favourite fighter of all time without a doubt!!!

Hearns' wins over Duran, Benitez and Cuevas **** all over anything Mayweather's achieved, especially when you include fighter form.

At his best weight, he's the GOAT, and is a H2H nightmare anywhere from 147-160. At Mayweather's best weight, he's probably top 3, and you couldn't count on two hands the number of fighters that would beat him from 130-147.

H2H at 147, Hearns cleans Floyd's clock (though that's probably not saying much).

    Hearns pretty clearly.

Corrales is not hall of fame. Marquez was handpicked and is overrated. And he has not fought Pac yet. Floyd just handpicks guys. Even with Pacman,I think he knows Pacman is smaller and thinks he will do to him what he did to Marquez. Outclass him. Who knows. He is quick.. So he could. But Floyd cannot compare to a Hearns caliber. Hearns fought Cuevas,Benitez,Leonard,Duran,Hill,Hagler. Big difference. Almost ridiculous caliber difference.

    JMM
    Corrales
    Gatti
    Oscar
All will be in the Hall of Fame
You can pull your Skirt down now I stated Hearns is the Better Fighter but you should be locked in a Bathroom with 3 Pitbulls saying JMM is overated and down Playing his wins over these people. Especially his will to fight Pac. This is why Floyd said **** the Fans for so many years.

During the Corley Fight Stewart said Mitchell would give mayweather problems and its a fight he liked to see he Fought Mitchell no Respect still, they mentioned Oscar he fought Oscar no respect still, Jones said there is a guy name Ricky Hatton out there for Floyd to fight while Brian Kenney wanted to see a zab Fight on ESPN. Floyd Faught Both and look at the Respect he gets.

In 06 Baldemere was the #1 Welter Weight and the Champion Zab Judah was Ranked Number #2 They Both Faught Zab Lose but Floyd faught Both. #1 and #2. Still no Respect. I woulda said **** yall too
especially when Stewart started the Margo hype machine because he wanted Floyd to fight him, why the **** would he? You just made it seem as Floyd could prove his Dominance by beating Mitchell and still no Love
