    Wlad by far:

    Gold medalist
    unifying the belts
    beat Peter
    beat Byrd (twice)
    beat Ibragimov
    1st to KO Mercer

Vitali beat Kirk Johnson, Corey Sanders and Herbie Hide. Not quite the same as Wlad's resume.

I do believe Vitali was about to put Lennox to sleep but that is another story.

Wladimir Klitschko because he has the chance to unify the heavyweight division by holding the IBF and WBO heavyweight titles. He needs to clean out the divsion by defeating Sam Peter (WBC champ) again and the winner of the Ruiz-Valuev match (vacant WBA champ). Vitali was the champ but has no chance to do what his brother has the capability to do now: become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

this one is tottally obvious to me and that is vitali ok wlad is a really good boxer but no way could I see him beating vitali if they were not brothers and could fight each other. fair enougth his resume may be better but mike tyson does not have a great resume really and I think he would beat wlad. I just could not see vitali losing to the people that wlad lost to and lets face it vitalis loss to byrd was just bad luck and who knows what would have happend with lewis.

On what planet were you when you arrived at the conclusion that tyson's resume wasn't great. There was only a handful of his 60 fights that went the distance. He had some great named scalps but it's the manner in which he took them that made his resume rather remarkable in my eyes. Wlad all the way though. Injuries aside would almost definitely have seen vitali as the #1 son

Doesn't this thread topic come up at least once or twice a week?

Wladimir has the better resumé & legacy to present.

Vitali was the last Ring Magazine Heavyweight Champion.

If he comes back and knocks out Peter (something Wlad could not do) then unifies with the WBA winner I would put him ahead of Wlad.

... because he won over Sanders:roll: . Vitaly was very good, but Sanders had a lucky day when he bet wlad.
