Very hard to call. Hatton probably achieved more but Benn's best win (McLellan is greater than Hatton's (Tszyu).

During the WBU wonder years, Hatton had no real domestic challengers. Benn had Watson, Eubank and Collins to contend with. Benn had it tougher, he shined in some fights but lost the majority of other hard ones. The Iran Barkley and GMAN fights are some of the better wins.

Malignaggi isn't one of Hatton's five best wins.

McLellan is better than the Tszyu win surely.

In his prime, monster puncher coming over here with most expecting him to take Benn's head off. And not only that he got off the deck after taking a battering in the first round and went toe to toe with him.

I don't think Hatton's win of a past it Kostya Tszyu can beat that as good as it was.

Well the poll was close (9-7 in favour of Benn at one point).

Ditto me, much as I love Hatton Benn is a British legend. Both a lot to be proud of, multiple weight titles, a number of good wins, not frightened to leave their home turf to kick ass, not frightened to take on the most formidable opponents out there. Both exciting styles, though Benn more so because of his one shot power and his own propensity to be hurt. Benn was a real British great though a throwback fighter and the man who got me into the sport so I'm going to go with him.
