They might not be over here but they are in America. After all Nas' arrogance he was badly beaten and didnt even try to avenge the loss in a rematch, but he does get some respect to be fair. The only thing Hatton will be remembered for is lying on his back against Pacquiao. It certainly isnt fair but thats the way I fear it will be.

Naz fought everyone in his weight class. In his 12th fight he fought the world rated Belcastro and dominated him. Freddy Cruz was better than 90% of the fighters Ricky fought in defence of his WBU title and he was pre title for Naz. Naz did not have the mega win of Tszyu, though to be fair Barrera was better than Tszyu and in his prime when he met him. Kelly, Soto, McCullough, Ingle ( 2 domestic rivals he fought cough cough Witter ), Medina, Johnson, Vasquez the list goes on and on. They are not the same as Tackie, Phillips et al. These guys were campaigning succesfully in their division and the majority were either world champions at the time or would be again soon. Hatton does not have that calibre on his resume.

Without doubt. With hatton you got the best you could of had from him.... but he just wasn't good enough. With Hamed you didn't see the best from him yet still achived in his career, what I feel is more impressive than what Hatton achived overall. He lost his hunger long before he fought Barrera.

    Better skilled- Naz
    Better Legacy- Hatton
Better Resume- You could argue this one either way, I think hatton's decade at 140, is a little bit better then some of the B level fighters Naz fought....but you could argue hamed's devision was a little stonger then hatton's 140 reign.....

tough call, but i have a feeling history will look more kindly on hatton then hamed...

How do you get to these conclusions ? Hattons rarely fought anyone as good as a B level fighter. If Hameds division was stronger ( and he cleaned it out ) how are they B level opponents ? Then look at the bums Hatton fought usually

Naz, I can find no reason why to pick Hatton. Naz was unique. I believe if he had stayed with Brendan Ingle and behaved himself he would have lasted years longer.

Better legacy - Hatton yeah Knocked cold by Pac, knocked out by Mayweather Versus Hamed, outpointed by Barrera.

Better resume - Hatton beat up on lightweights. Hamed was a bantamweight \ superbantamweight who moved up to featherweight to beat Robinson. Hatton moved up and squeaked past a welterweight in Collazo.

    :good

Theres a lot of OTT stuff getting posted in order to try and make points. Neither fighter is an ATG who beat the best and niether fighter is a mug who beat bums.

    Hamed, hands down.
he'll be remembered as a great entertainer with chilling power, Hatton will be remembered as a boring, limited wrestler with a massively manufactured career and a propensity for getting sparked when stepping out of his comfort zone.
