In the 140 division, based on their resume, who ranks higher - Khan or Maidana?

Its close, but I would choose Maidana.

Khan hasn't done anything at 140 yet other than beat Kotelnik. So definitely Maidana, who many thought beat Kotelnik and of course the destruction of Victor Ortiz.

If Khan takes this fight, all the credit in the world to him. Especially since the Prescott fight probably still haunts him.

Khan's win over Kotelnik is the best win out of the both of em. But only 1 fight at 140 so I can't rate him higher.

Khan, mainly because a wildman's time at the top are usually numbered. Either Khan beats Maidana or Ortiz does in a rematch. But I'll always choose the boxer for staying power.

Exactly. If you look at meaningful fights at 140, Khan has one and Maidana has two (but is 1-1). And Maidana was nearly knocked out by the guy he beat. On the other hand, many feel he was robbed by the guy Khan beat. Even so, had Maidana gotten the nod Khan's win is still the more impressive. Then again, head to head, you'd have to pick Maidana.

@ 140, at this moment, total wash.

And I bet if there was an "even" option, it'd be 5-5-20 :yep

In that case they shouldn't be seperated by Holt:good. They are both below Holt ATM, IMO.
