Thats not relly fair, Villa died young and still champ. Didnt even start his title rein so to speak. He is a great fighter, but I always wondering what kinda of a title rein he have.

He was impressive vs Buff and Villa though. very powerful.

Shame about Villa he had achieved so much in such a short amount of time, what could have been...I have Pac over him, Villa just was out of my top 100, he came in at 101. A little low for some people's tastes but I dont think its too bad when you look at the 100 fighters that are over him.

Out of the two given I go for Manny
Villa had two wins over Bud Taylor, wins over Johnny Buff ,Abe Goldstein, Kid Williams and an old Jimmy wilde [32] who had been retired for 2 years. But Pac man has the better resume imo,no need to mention them we are all familiar with his recent work, and it is superior to Villa's.imo.

elorde is good but he have too many losses in his prime...i always says that sandy saddler is overrated because he could not handle elorde easily. saddler ia also the dirtiest boxer of all-time..

most of elorde's defenses was in the philippines.

pac> villa bec of villa defeated wilde in the twilight of his career.

^^^ elorde was leading in the scorecards but because of dirty tactics, he was able to KO elorde in the 13th

Pacquiao is the best boxer from the Phillipines, his record speaks for itself. Elorde lost too many times in his career and Villa died to early for us to see what he was really capable of.

I seen the fight, I had Saddler well ahead by the time of the stoppage imo.

I have Manny the best fighter for the pines by a clear margin but I think its a little harsh to judge Flash on his unattractive looking final record. He had some significant clusters of losses early and late in his career..In his peak period between about 58-66 he was only really beaten once...and that was by Carlos Ortiz.
The other two L's were in Japan and reportedly he was robbed.

I thought Saddler was up by a couple of points? Not heaps..just a couple if my memory serves me correctly.

Saddler looked lost for long stretches against Elorde imo, he landed some good long right hands, but mostly just mauled and fouled.

Elorde is underrated imo.An excellent boxer-puncher, who was just too small for someone like Ortiz.

his losses to ortiz hurts him..ortiz is a top 50 guy so elorde should be in the top 80s at the very highest. his lack of KO power hurts his legacy plus the fact that there are two many great 130 pounders after him.

again saddler is overrated. i also watch tyhe fight and elorde is winning before saddler turn into his dirty tactics..please watch the fight and you would be disappointed by saddler

Well..it was late in his career and lets face it Flash is a great fighter.

Saddler had a remarkable career..as dirty a ***** as he was. Call me crazy I think he could beat Armstrong at his best weight.
