Who ranks higher, Michael Spinks or Manny Pacquiao?

Michael Spinks was a highly accomplished Light Heavyweight having defeated very good fighters in Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Marvin Johnson, Yaqui Lopez, and Murray Sutherland. Before moving up to Heavyweight, he had successfully defended his WBA World Light Heavyweight champion 10 times, capturing both the WBC and IBF crowns along the way. With nothing else to do or prove as a Light Heavyweight, Spinks moved up to face off against then undefeated Heavyweight champion, Larry Holmes. They fought twice with Spinks winning on both occasions by decision.

Larry Holmes x2, Muhammad Qawi, Eddie Mustafa, Marvin Johnson, Yaqui Lopez, Murray Sutherland x2, Eddie Davis

Manny Pacquiao has covered more weight classes than I care to mention, and beaten more world class fighters than almost anyone who has campaigned in the last 10 years. Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, and Juan Manuel Marquez, arguably the three greatest Mexicans since the great Chavez, have all fell at the hands of the Filipino. Pacquiao has defied critics and fans alike as he had continually moved up in weight class and decisively beat much bigger men. Pacquiao has won 8 titles in as many divisions.

Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez x2, Miguel Cotto, Ledwaba, Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito

Considering each fighters achievements during their respective careers, and whilst putting all of the aforementioned victories into proper context, which fighter should be considered the greater of the two? Discuss.

Perhaps I'm alone in thinking Manny Pacquiao and Michael Spinks are fairly comparable in terms of ATG ranking, especially when you factor in your own scoring for some of their tougher and more debatable fights. :think

I rank Pacquiao just below Spinks, and Marquez just above him!

Both in the 31-40 bracket for me. Pacman higher, Harada higher than both.

Better to explain your position and not vote than vote without backing up your opinion.
