    Neither would Chavez at 43-0.

Chavez had about 90 fights under his belt before losing to Randall, he was heavily on the decline & wasn`t anywhere near the fighter that tooled Rosario in 1987 at his peak.

"Not even close"...I don't believe you believe that. I know we disagree on some topics, but I genuinely respect your boxing knowledge, but to say "not even close" regardless who you feel is better, is crazy talk.

I think he meant the POLL is not even close despite the board being packed with fmj fans.

Could be wrong but that`s the way I took it.

Who are you referring to when you say "no shame in losing to a prime ATG"?

I hope you aren't being foolish and saying that Erik Morales was prime when he fought Pacquiao. Because that would be very, very stupid of you... Unless you are believe that Bradley won and becomes an ATG later, in which case you are even dumber.

Prime Castillo of 2002, the best lightweight of the decade, would probably be Pacquiao's 3rd best win, no lower than 5th, only behind Barrera I, Cotto, Sasakul, or Hatton. Sorry, old grandpa freshly defeated Morales II & III doesn't make the cut, nor do the controversial Marquez fights which the majority feel he lost, in my opinion.

You should stick to watching womens tennis, fool. How can Morales have been so worn by '04, if he went on to beat Pacquiao, fight a war with him in the second fight, fight 12 hard rounds with Diaz, and then years later still be capable of going 12 hard rounds with young powerpunchers like Maidana and Danny Garcia?

So who do you think is better, Serena or a prime Steffi Graf?

Morales was worn by 04. Everybody knows this. He had declined alot as a fighter, had bad weight issues and the wars and tough fights he had been in had taken his toll on him. Also remember he came out of 3 year retirement to face Maidana and then later Garcia.

At this point I would say I have JCC over FMJ as far as ATG goes. But in fairness it is easier to judge a fighter 5+ years or more after they retire when we can look at their full body of work and their era with a much fairer eye. FMJ can still add to his resume legacy, although if Pac/Floyd never comes off (and it might be to late anyway) it will likely hinder their legacies (Yes, both) on some level.

Lennox Lewis was not thought that highly of during the end of his career and many would not call him top 10....He is a top 10 on any credible list and is a consensus top 5 guy by the majority. Wlad likewise some idiots say is alreadty top 5 while their extremist counterparts say he is not top 25....I have him 14 and excpect that he will battle for a top 10 spot when all is said and done.

I don't personally like Wlad, Lennox or FMJ and/or their styles.....but as a fan I respect their skill, greatness resume and legacy/accomplishments. Too many base their rankings on their emotions (either I love them/or hate them)...when a few years pass the picture becomes clearer, and a fairer and more accurate placement can be evaluated!

When Floyd is done.....i think people will clearly see his body of work...he has consistantly fought legit Champions, #1's and 2's.....from 130 as high as 154 winning legit tittles while displaying boxing talent that is second to none.

I know he gets a knock for i guess not fighting everyone people wanted him to fight...i think he unfairly gets the brunt of the blame because i only remember ONE fighter who actually pursued and tried to fight Mayweahter....the rest, not saying they didnt or were scared....were just fine if they did not get a fight with Floyd...nobody was really knocking down doors but ONE guy to fight Floyd.

Since people are posting on this thread today I guess it's not a necro. Yes, I meant the POLL isn't close. In an actual fight, I do believe JCC would chase down and eventually catch Floyd. A PRIME JCC, not the whoring cokehead that fought Pea. I also believe that when the **** hits the fan, Floyd would show himself to be a savage fighter (he's done it before when he had to) and it would be a hell of a battle, but he would lose. Very few, if any, LW's could take the sustained beating that JCC dished out.

It's close, overall I'm gonna have to go with Mayweather.
