Idiot logic, DLH had his face broken by Miguel Angel Gonzalez and Pacman.

Whitaker Still being a champ didn't mean much. He was well past his best and was a Cocaine addict at point of his career. He was done. In the 3 fights before he fought Oscar, he looked like Utter Garbage. He Barely squeaked Out 2 decisions against Wilfredo Rivera. Those where 2 close fights and Whitaker was lucky to get the decisions. In fact Rivera got robbed in the first fight. He beat Whitaker in the 1st fight. Rivera is a **** Fighter, the fact Whitaker struggled shows how dreadful Whitaker was at that stage of his career. Rivera has never been a World Champion, he's not a World level fighter. Then in fight before he fought Oscar, he fought Hurtado and looked like utter ****. Hurtado was schooling him, he had Whitaker down twice. Whitaker managed to stop him the 11th rd. however he was clearly losing the fight. Hurtado was winning on all 3 judges scorecards by 3 points. Whitaker was clearly Shot. The fact he was struggling and lucky to beat 2 Very Below Average fighters who had never in life won a World Championship, shows he was clearly Wayy Past it. If you think Pernell was Still good your deluding yourself. After Pernell fought Oscar he never won a fight again. The fact that Oscar struggled and lost in a lot of people's opinion says More about Oscar than Whitaker. Whitaker losing to Rivera is like losing to Matthew Hatton. Whitaker was done and no longer elite. The fact you claim Floyd never fought anybody like Whitaker is hilarious because Floyd beat a lot of guys better than the Version of Whitaker that Oscar fought.

DLH has 6 losses on that resume. Floyd beat him, and I don't know you can continue to ignore that.

chico wobbled jlc with every hook landed. oscar would murdere him awfully

  6. Even as a Pacquiao fan ( Over Floyd ) this was an easy decision. ODLH lost 90% of his biggest fights, but fair play to him for fighting those guys.

Go make a DLH and JLC thread my man.

Each fighter has their own path, time, let it be.

How many losses does Roberto Duran have? Does Floyd rank higher than him? SRR, Armstrong, Ali, all the top greats have losses, some in their prime, some at the twilight of their careers, like Oscar.

That's why you don't just look at stats, but you look at substance. Who they fought, when they fought them, and what they accomplished.

Using the scale that is used to rate SRR, Ali, Greb and all the greats to measure greatness, Oscar trumps over Floyd.

    More title fights won.
    More champions beat.
    Champion more times.
    Better quality competition.

    what a truly **** post.

if I could pick away at mayweather's resume like this, i would. But I give him credit in his big fights rather than the cherry picking he did.

Name me one person as great as Pea that Floyd fought. I'll be waiting. and laughing

DLH flamed out, and you gotta put things in perspective.

DLH and Duran, DLH and Mayweather, Mayweather and Duran are way off topic. You got it twisted.

I never dissed Oscar. I just said Whitaker was no longer close to his best, which his previous fights prove. He declined as a fighter and He was struggling with lower level fighters. In His Prime Whitaker was better than anybody Floyd fought, in fact in his prime I think he was better than Floyd. But Whitaker at that stage of his career when he fought Oscar wasn't close to anything near his best and that's the point I'm making.

    ???

Floyd is 35 like DLH was, but he isn't a six time loser.
