ggg, if crawford can take out pac in his next fight, he leap frogs ggg till ggg can clear out 168... assuming crawford keeps winning.
Both guys are elite and win their fights in impressive fashion, but based on quality of opposition there's no way you can put GGG ahead of Crawford. Obviously with the amount of diehard 3G fanatics around here this poll was only gonna go one way.
Tough one. Both are complete, smart boxers, and haven't lost many rounds. I give the slight edge to Crawford, for the better defence and footwork. Crawford's the one guy in my p4p top 10 who I've moved a fair bit the last year, not directly because of his quality of opposition, but because Crawford is patient and conservative and only takes what's available for him, so often fights to the level of his opposition. By now I think I have a good enough read on him that I'll rate him high even if he doesn't always shows his best. If they were the same size I think he could take away GGG's jab and avoid his power, turn it into a boring fight, and outland him. Crawford's won me over, and I'll have him top 5 for a long time. I'll take this as a chance to flex my p4p: 1. Lomachenko 2. Gonzalez 3. Ward 4. Inoue 5. Crawford 6. Rigo 7. Mikey Garcia 8. Golovkin 9. Kovalev 10. Estrada
Crawford is more tested in the P4P sense. If he is able to go up and clean out 147 (not likely)...it won't be close, IMO. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
I think Crawford may actually be better h2h as well, like I see Crawford being harder to beat than GGG. IDK though perhaps I'm overhyping him now.
