Who ranks higher P4P, Duran or Whitaker?

    Duran. Same size as Whitaker but the guys he fought were way bigger.

    Whitaker was more dominant and consistent for longer, Duran has the better win and more exciting wins but embarrassing losses nearer his prime. Whitaker would outbox Duran too but probably lose to Leonard.

    Depends what you like I suppose.

    Whitaker deserves a mention. To me, most of his losses were highly questionable if not outright robberies. Duran had some embarrassing losses which tarnish his image in my mind.

    Duran easily. 103 Wins with 70 wins by KO vs Whitaker with just 40 wins with 17 wins by KO.

    I remember after he lost to Pat Lawlor, irate readers sent in mail to KO magazine. One reader described Duran as "a plodding pig" and in the same issue another said he had "a belly of jelly" instead of hands of stone.
    Boy, were they upset.
