Argument could be made for either. A decisive win this weekend over Maidana would elevate him above Golovkin clearly for me.
Warning: ^ doesn't follow boxing. I know the three fights he is referring to... Daniel Ponce de Leon Paulie Malignaggi You look like an idiot.
Broner. no question. a win over Maidana will COMPLETELY shatter GGG's resume more than it already does. don't talk about "GGG has more potential" because GGG is in his 30's. he's as good as he'll ever be, and Broner is only 23. he still has alot of improving to do.
Broner is average but he'll beat Maidana cause Maidana is a journeyman, I expect Broner to win every round. GGG has only beaten 1 top fighter GGG has much more talent than Broner in every department and was a much better amateur
How bout neither of the, crack the top ten or even 15 let them accumilate some decent wins before we start this crap !
I think both are excellent fighters. Both have the potential to get better as well: i think GGG's ceiling is higher in terms of ability. I think Broner has more room to grow, and accomplish more at multiple weights. I like Golovkin, and I think Broner is a d*ck, so I'm gonna go ahead and say Broner as I think he's done more in the time he's been on the scene.
Broner by far. Much better resume and has beaten different styles while facing actual world class fighters. GGG has just beat bums and C level dudes. GGG is completely unproven
