The reason he was shot at an early age was from all the partying and crack smoking done while young.

You gotta' be a boxer even when you're not in the ring.:deal

That's why Hopkins is 150 years old and he's bouncing on his toes instead of walking on his heels.

    He's ALWAYS a fighter...even when he's not training.

Floyd has this vital trait over Sweet Pea..........DISCIPLE.

Mayweather is surrounded by weed-heads...hell...he was walked to the ring by a couple of 'em..

    But he doesn't smoke..

Surrounded by alcohol of all kinds and descritions..he even has a wine cellar....but....he won't touch a drop.

Whitaker ain't got it like that.

His trainers had to go looking for him..he was either at the crackhouse or the pawnshop.

PBF is a top 25 ATG no way in hell can you name 40 boxers in the history of the sport greater than PBF. You having Whitatker as a top 25 ATG is wrong as well.

Based on what? PBF is the better and more complete boxer of the two.

    Sweat Pea faced everbody.
Floyd would never have fought Ceasar Chavez in San Antonio.

Sweat Peas robbed victory is better than any win on Floyds record

Better resume and while Senior wasn't the ultimate purist, he had terrific skills and was a great fighter..

There are far more than 40 current boxers who would beat the **** out of PBF.

Not the better boxer PBF was more complete. Not better longevity his resume isn't that great no better than PBF's lost to Pea got a gift in a draw. Quit and had bad losses. Faced taxi cab drivers for like 50 + fights. PBF is already the better fighter and he's not done by the time he's done it won't even be close.

Easy....I've never heard of any boxers, trainers or promoters even play with the idea of Pernell as the best ever. I have experienced such commentary in respects to Floyd. My guess is that the betting odds would be in Floyd's favor, due to a host of variables.

Sweet Pea is probably the most amazing fighter I've ever seen. Just imagine if he had more pop on his punches. Floyd, however, is the more complete fighter. Right now, I would rank Sweet Pea higher, but I bet PBF will ranked higher universally at the end of his career.
