Who ranks higher, Vitali or Lennox Lewis?

Lennox was greater, fought greater guys and had more dominant wins.

You're just mad at the facts, and the facts are that Vitali beat the **** out of Lewis. You can keep whining and crying in defense of Lewis, but in the end you know that Lewis could only win 2 rounds against Vitali, like the rest of Vitali's opposition who haven't been able to win 3 rounds.

Basically, you see facts in front of you and ignore them and try to make points. It's funny because everyone just sees you as the idiot, and me as the person who is making complete sense.

 

Vitali has two things over Lennox-longevity and he's never been starched by one punch from two different much inferior opponents. Every other thing I can possibly think of goes to Lennox for credible criteria on judging a fighter's career. Lennox's achievements, ability, quality of opposition are all well ahead of Vitali's.

 

While I agree with what your saying, yes lewis only won two rounds, dont forget that this is a 12 round fight not the 6 that it lasted, you me or anyone will never know how the rest of the fight would have gone, if anything vitali was starting to tire and lewis won the last round, could that of been the turning point maybe? maybe not? Thats the thing no one will ever know what would have happend in a full 12 round fight between the 2. Vitali showed that he could at least bang with lewis, came to fight and probably surprised lewis a bit in the process.
The only fact about the fight was that it was stopped, legitimately. While yes, vitali was up on the scorecards but a cut is a cut, this is boxing and these things happen. Cuts stop fights, im sure lewis saw the opertunity when it came and went to town on that eye.

Vitali was easily capable of fighting with that cut, and he would have won if it continued. He didn't get stopped, a doctor stopped it. Big difference idiot.

Lennox takes it but only because of the available opposition and Klitschko's absence from the sport. Lennox was by far a harder puncher and fought the likes of Holyfield, Tyson, Mccall, Mercer, Bruno etc. Vitali sadly didnt have those calibur of fighters to prove himself, if he had then the gap between them would be a lot closer as I believe he would have beaten every fighter Lewis had fought (including a byrd rematch)
