    Who else meets this?

    Pretty much only HW's...

John L. Sullivan, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, then there's just the high profile Marciano, Dempsey, Johnson types.

    Robinson, Leonard/Hagler/Hearns/Duran...?

    Jones
    Calzaghe
    Hopkins

Can't see how anyone ranks Hopkins so high ..most of the best fighters he faced he lost to.

It's a toss up between jones and Bhop overall. I said jones because of his win over prime Bhop and toney plus moving up to win a title at HW. However, Bhop is really not that far behind and if he continues to perform at the level he is at when he is 50 I would have to say I would give him the nod. Joe has done nothing. CLose to the level of either Bhop or jones and is a distant 3rd.

I guess its how you view it.

Jones won titles at 4 weights, Calzaghe and Hopkins at 2, but then Jones has question marks about his career after the Hall fight and Calzaghe and Hopkins have been considered the man in 2 weight divisions, Jones in only 1 that, I am aware of.

Hopkins and Jones are one each in bouts, whilst Calzaghe has beaten them both

In one of the divisions that Hopkins became the man again after Calzaghe had beaten him.

Calzaghe has the greater wins with world champ Hopkins rather than novice Hopkins, plus undefeated Kessler, Eubank, and Jones

Both Jones and Hopkins have suffered losses whilst Calzaghe was never beaten

    Calzaghe defended abroad several times

    Calzaghe
    Hopkins/Jones

Hopkins a Jones is a debateable one, where I went back and forth with my opinion

Thank you dbouziane, Nice to know that you value my opinion on the subject so highly, that you say I should just be pm'd to give an in depth analysis

Who did Hopkins beat as good as Eubank and undefeated Kessler? Calzaghe beat both and Hopkins

poll speaks the truth, jones is way ahead in spite of the drugs incident.

just imagine how far ahead he would be without marking him down for that drug incident.

poll speaks another truth, calzaghe comes bottom of the three by a massive margin in votes.

fair enough since he had a nothing title nearly all the time , but the others had big titles most of the time.
they are in different leagues really.
