    Daredevil, I help you:

Round 2: Calzaghe landed 13 power punches. Hopkins landed 7.
Round 3:Calzaghe landed 13 more punches than Hopkins did (and hit 25 more)
Round 4: Calzaghe landed 11 more punches (and hit 28 more).
    Should I contiune?

You give these rounds to Hopkins? Of course I know punch statistics can be misleading, but if you land 230 while your opponent land 120, if
you hit 200 more than your opponent and this is proportion is the same the whole fight...

Joe Calzaghe outworked, outlanded B-Hop in every round and at the end, Hopkins was exhausted, as never before.

Hopkins is unfortunate because he clearly beat Tarver,Wright and Pavlik. He lost the two Taylor fights and Calzaghe when at leats two of those fights could easily have gone to Hopkins.

I think they both beat him, but close matches though.

Going by the poll most people agree with the decision.

He lost to both, but i felt he could have won them both if he gave more. He gave me the impression he boxed within himself in the JT fights zzz

ooo that hurt..why don't you offer up your score card or some intelligent debate to disprove me rather than throwing insults about this is a forum after all.
BTW i forgot there was a right and wrong answer of who to give close rounds. Scoring fights is completely subjective depending on what you prefer so you score your way and I'll score mine:D

i don't even account or look at punch stats, judges dont so neither do i they're just there for a guideline for unedcated viewers to give them a rough idea of what's going on. Hopkins was in complete control the first half of the fight. Show me a clean effective punch in any one of those first four rounds and I'll show you a guy looking for a needle in a haystack

    :hi:
im British and a calzaghe fan and i think hopkins simply turned up with the wrong game plan. and if hopkins hadnt head butted held and feined a whack to the nuts he could have won. so he only has himself to blame. calzaghe simply wore him down. whether he slapped or not he won. better tactics on the night.
and as for the British coment. grow up you tool.:patsch

I thought Hop won all 3 fights but could see why they gave JT the 1st fight.

Calzaghe certainly won, Taylor both were close, and probably deserved a win a piece (or two draws?). I thought he beat Winky but the cards weren't as wide as BHop was credited.

ok i never said he won all those rounds...i do accept the fact the second half of the fight was joes quite easily but i dont think he was effective enough to the extent he was consisently landing good solid shots until at least round 9 hence i thought rounds 5 through 8 could have gone to either fighter
