Who really believes that Floyd will follow through with this 6 fight deal thing?

There is a reason they picked 6 fights it is to get him to 49-0 and then he will be a free agent for him to negotiate his 50th fight which means $$$$$$ Ellerbe already admitted as much. Not sure why it matter as 49-0 is only relevant at Heavyweight but the casual Boxing fan doesn't know that.

What other HOF caliber fighter finished with more than 49 wins without a loss or a draw?

Not really, floyd has plenty of easy targets to beat even in his 40s. I am certain floyd could beat guys like rios or malinaggi or alvardo in his sleep . Floyd could beat the garcias or rios type ighters at 50. Frankly floyd could beat 3 more bums and then figt pac and retire a billionaire

I see him fulfilling the deal because he has led the life and more importantly his boxing fundamentals are sound.

Indeed. Berto/Mayweather would have been great on paper but I honestly don't think he was ever the same after that Ortiz fight. He would have had his moments(early on) against Floyd but he probably would have gassed around the 5th or 6th round and got stopped late.
