That was the same Kovalev we saw against Chilemba that we see in every fight, great power but one dimensional, fairly slow and predictable. Ward will pick him off easily and stop him in the championship rounds.

What we saw was the output of about 60% of his normal.

I'm starting to get concerned the fight won't come off. HBO's lack of buildup combined with scheduling it right by a Pac ppv leads me to think there's at least a decent chance we see a delay. This is a match they should be showcasing and hyping the hell out of, and it's just not happening. I think there's more going on behind the scene than meets the eye here.

I'm still cautiously optimistic it'll happen, but not as certain as I was before.

I hope that's not the case. If it is, you can be sure as sure can be it's not Kovalev making things difficult

If believe the fight will happen

I believe Ward will win an ugly fight by decsion

And possibly score a knockdown, not a big one, but I see him dropping kovalev
Of course I could be wrong but I vision Kov getting frustrated in mid to late rounds and getting caught

Hows he gonna drop him? His punch power is non existent. Unlike his savage opponents'

Ward is so overrated it's not funny the same things were said about Hopkins frustrating Kovalev and being the better boxer and Hopkins is way better than ward and we all know how that turned out. Who has he beaten a one eyed old Kessler who was never anything even in his prime or Froch a slow plodding British level bum. I keep watching ward fight to try and see what it is that makes him considered so great. I just can't see it he's slow boring lacks power and just eeks out boring decisions. He is not fighting Kovalev this year or any year soon the people claiming the fight will happen are the same ones that thought canelo would actually fight ggg. All he's doing is using Kovalevs name as an excuse to not get flack for his constant pathetic competition. Move along people there's nothing to see here talk about fights that actually might happen and put this on the cold case shelf with canelo vs ggg.

Of course he will fight him and anyone, and I mean ANYONE who ever thought that Ward ever ducked Bute...do me this favor. Tie steaks around your neck and jump into a Tiger cage.

Bute got his ass mauled by Froch and we're supposed to believe that AFTER the super 6 that Ward was supposed to fight Bute??? Foh, Bute should've been in the Super 6. ****en coward and his handlers wanted to milk him for as long as they could after they found out that he truly couldn't fight after the Andrade debacle.

He won't fight it's like saying canelo will fight ggg. He talks about tune ups that's not a fighters way of talking. He's a female.

Why listen to boxing promoters and trainers on the payroll trying to sell him as this great p4p. Just look at who and how he fights he's not that good at all.
