Who really cares about all of these weight classes?

Actually this guy, Action, makes valid points. The NFL or NBA do not have weight or height divisions. Either you can play with the big boys or you can't. Using that as the standard I for one will not accept Mayweather or Pacquiao as the P4P king when I know that either Klitchko would kill them both inside a round.

    :huh

If you want to do it this way, why not just the original eight plus Cruiser?

I'd much prefer see little guys go at it rather than 400lb behemoths.

Sumo wrestling doesn't have weight classes either...look what an incentive that is to be as huge as possible.

Fans have left boxing because of ppv, not weight classes.

Oh, any top 5 WW would kill you in a boxing match. Guaranteed. Ive seen HW's get handled by LW's in the gym, yet alone p4p WW's handling Mr.Average Joe like yourself.

And for the record, the baddest "sonovabitch" in the house most probably is someone like Fedor. Who would grab any boxer, pin them down and break their arms in submission.

I'm a boxing fan, but I'm not going to close myself to what boxing gives me.

I really believe boxing would be better if you just had the following weight divisions

    Fly - 115
    Bantam - 125
    Feather - 135
    Light - 145
    Welter - 154
    Middle - 170
    Crusier - 190
    Heavy - 220
    Super - 250

That original post was stupid, but I agree that boxing has way too many weight classes.

If there HAS to be weight classes the I suggest this:

    Bantam - 115

    Feather - 125

    Light - 135

    Welter - 145

    Middle - 160

    Cruiser - 175

    L. Heavy - 190

    Heavy - 220

    Super - above 220

PPV is one reason that fans have left but a greater reason is too mnay weight classes and "world titles". There are 10 weight classes at 140 pounds and below....that is just stupid!

I agree that the baddest man currently is Fedor. If I had to choose a fighter to be on my team the first pick would be Fedor and not Mayweather or Pacquiao.
