Is there anyone who really wants to fight GGG? Lara only sent tweets, never contacted GGG's team and even tries to make GGG change to a lower weight class. Pointless, Lara brings nothing, if he really wanted to fight, he would have sent an offer and going down in weight for him doesn't make sense. He is not Floyd. Floyd's whole team is like: "GGG is too big .. I don't say Floyd would lose this fight though". Then why not fighting? :think Lemieux. According to Oscar, not before 2017. Quillin. Ducking Golovkin for years now, got exposedby Lee and Rosado. Lee. Said he will fight Golovkin but when things became more serious, he suddenly disappeared. Fights against Saunders now. Cotto, we all know about this topic. He is ducking Golovkin for a year now. GGG is his mndatory but Cotto somehow manages it toavoid this fight. He rather fought Daniel Geale, who jt lost to Golovkin. Canelo vs GGG osn't happen so fast as well, according to the snowman. Let's move up in the weight class. Chavez Jr. He canceled the contract before it was almost signed. He refused to fight GGG to face a LHW, who knocked him down and made him quit. He took this risk and got exposed, only to avoid GGG. Froch. Says first, he is never going to fight GGG. After that, he changes his mind and lets fb users decide who his next opponent should be. Golovkin won this survey. Froch disappeared again, ripping his body and tweeting that he is too big for Golovkin. He rather wants to fight DeGale. Ward. Old story. He ducks GGG since 2012, since his HO debut. How did it start? Golovkin called out all big names from 154 - 168 pounds. Ward rather commentated his fight against Macklin. GGG wants Ward, Ward comes back and fights Rodriguez. Becomes inactive again for a year. GGG calls him out, people accuse him of ducking Ward. atsch Ward comes back again and fights Paul Smith, wholost twice to Abraham, in a boring performance. He says he needs more fights untill facing Golovkin or other high competition. People still say Golovkin ducks him. :rofl This content is protected
Nobody elite wants to fight an unproven hype job and rightfully so. They have nothing to gain from it until he earns his stripes.
Let's say, for example, that you were in charge of Korobov's career. He hasn't fought since being KO'd by Andy Lee back in December. Would you put him in with GGG straight away? 9 months of inactivity, coming off a KO loss and you're going to put him in with the best fighter in the division?
GGG is the elite fighter. If he is just an unproven hypejob then why isn't anyone in any hurry to cash in on that hype? I already know that you're just a trolling f@ggot and you will come back with some stupid crybaby sh*t:rofl
he was beating Lee before getting hurt should he pad his record some more then? or fight for a title?
I would be curious as to what Lara's purse has been for his last several fights and what the purses have been for Golovkins' last several opponents. It doesn't appear very many want to fight Golovkin. Alvarez and Cotto get a temporary pass should they face each other as to deny that would be to admit not acknowledging boxing as a professional business where everyone is trying to make as much money as possible. Same as Golovkin is trying to do. Otherwise he could take massive paycuts and surely that would entice several more opponents to square off with him. But that would be silly to expect. Much of Golovkins' situation comes down to Middleweight being such a poor division. Pretty darn weak and been this way for more than just a minute.
I'm just being realistic about how boxing works today. We are talking realistic options for GGG's next fight, right?
Read the first post. Lara never seriously sent an offer. He is a weight class below, not willing to step up, on a different network. Golovkin has no reason to go down for a clown like him. His team already said: Only Floyd. And this makes sense. Asking to go down for Lara is te same as asking Wladimir to go down for Afolabi.
