As much as i like him and as exciting as he is he's not even close to elite and he doesn't fight elite fighters because he refuses to...although he's my favorite fighter when he was calling out everybody and they momma Floyd still gets ridiculed for ducking but this guy gets excuse after excuse which is bs period ijs

Middleweight is not weak. Same as Heavyweight is not weak. There are guys like Wladimir and Golovkin who make this division look weak. Best example is the last fight between Lemieux and N'Dam. Without Golovkin, this would be a fight that goes into history. (And t was an awesome fight). But Golovkin being there makes them look bad because he would school them.

Without Golovkin though, and if it would be in the 80's, most guys would claim: "The glorious old times".

Lara has begged for the hype job to fight him but team Golovkin is ducking. They'd rather pursue the freshest tin can off the conveyor belt. I bet Golovkin is eyeing fighting Shane Mosley after the Mayorga fight as hes content in wasting his prime years fighting guys who pose no challenge to him at all whilst ducking legitimate offers. He's more concerned about his Ko streak than Floyd is about his 0

I see nobody relevant in Middle or Light Middle gaining anything from a fight with him. If you beat him, you are the one to expose the hype job but nobody cares as all he was was a hype job anyway. Anyone about MW who's relevant is only laughing at him, why fight an unproven guy like that when there is several proven elite guys willing to fight each other for good money.

Sending tweets is begging?? If he seriously would want to fight, his team would have sent an serious offer, for 160. Because someone who got rocked and knocked down by Angulo is definetly not worth, money-, status- and titlewise to go down in weight.

Furthermore, he is not going to fight on HBO anyway, so he uses GGG's name to make himself relevant.

    Korobov is realistic.

Lets look at top then then:
    http://ringtv.craveonline.com/ratings/middleweight

    Hasan Ndam Njakam
    Daniel Jacobs
    MIchael Soro
    Chris Eubank Jr
    Peter Quillin

These are the only guys out of top 10 that can potentially fight him.
Cross off Jacobs since he is with Haymon and is fighting soon.
Not sure what the deal with Quillin is - Haymon too?

Then that leaves Eubank Jr as best option. I dunno anything about Soro.

    This is indeed sad.

Why should the fight be on HBO? Why not Showtime? Lara's been in the bigger fights.
