I think castillo won and I'm a huge fan of Floyd

It's the only fight I think Floyd was lucky to get the verdict

Maidana ran him close, but floyd won that

Castillo. What’s funny is that Arum probably made sure Mayweather got the judges nod.

Well firstly, welcome to the forum!

Second, you know your baaaxing as only a blind man would score that fight for Mayweather.

Castillo was the champ. Castillo threw more punches, landed cleaner punches, pressed the action and closed the show.

    It wasnt even close.

Haven’t watched it in many years. I remember it being a pretty good example of a fight that could be scored either way. May weather out-scoring him through the first 4-5 rounds, with Castillo doing the more effective work for most of the rest. Not a robbery, but no argument with anyone who showed it for Castillo.

I’ll have to watch it again soon.

I gave it to Castillo by a point but wasn’t a robbery. Floyd banked some early rounds. The cards were bad though - they had them filled out before the fight

Castillo made it tougher on himself by giving up the first 4 to 5 rds tbh and I don’t think he completely swept the last 7.. A robbery would be more along the lines of Pac vs Bradley or Paul Williams vs Lara.. Instead this was a close fight that could have been argued either way 7-5 like Porter vs Spence or Porter vs Thurman

    This.
And the best part is that people seem ti ignore the rematch, which Floyd won hands down.

Wtf does being the champ have to do with anything?
Does he get a handicap for being the champ? And how does that work?
Either he won 7 rounds or more to get the W, or not.
Pressing the action or throwing more doesnt mean **** alt all as well
    Clean punches landed? Yup!
