You would have thought boxing fans who have opinions on who won a fight would be able to work out if fury won every round apart from being knocked down in 2 would have him 6 points ahead. I was bladdered and knackered watching this fight and despite knowing wilder was due a home fighter advantage I still had it 114-112 fury
Friendly reminder that waving your gloves at the end of the round and sticking your tongue out does not equate to a "schooling" unless you happen to be listening and absorbing the very biased commentary.
I'm very doubtful Wilder will still have his strap a year from now and not only because he very likely loses to Fury in their shceduled rematch but also because he seems to be somewhat aware that the game is nearly up and his interest in boxing appears to be dwindling as a result. I'm even more doubtful that we ever see him fight AJ.
Well a good indicator of what Wilder's plans are for the future is his weight. He is too light to be competing with AJ and Fury and if he comes even lighter for the rematch I think he is just going for it - if it works it works. If he loses, he will fight Joshua for some money and move to cruiserweight.
Ah fair point dude and now you say that I do recall Wilder saying not long ago that he was entertaining the idea of moving down to CW. I hope he does as he's held the WBC trap hostage for way too long, preventing unification and there are competitive fights for Wilder at CW which could get me excited and possibly even make me a fan of me yet.
