There are heaps of pictures Pacquiao hitting Bradley clean. Poor Bradley, Most people know he isn't the Real WBO Welterweight Champion. Good luck with the Rematch with Peterson who you had beaten by UD. Oh and make sure he is clean.
I can tell a ton of people was influenced by Jim Lampley and the HBO crew in this one. I didn't see this as a controversial decision. I thought Manny missed a lot of punches and Bradley outboxed him. This mentality that "the guy who lands the harder punches automatically should win the round" is BS. If that were the case, Willie Pep would have never won a fight, Billy Conn would never win a fight, Ali, Whitaker... the list goes on... That only favors the puncher. Too many people apparantly score boxing in this manner. I don't agree.
Pacquiao was having fun with Bradley in the Ring, Bradley's punches were like pillow punches for Pacquiao. This content is protected
I scored 1-3 for Bradley. 4-12 for Pacquiao. 117-111 Pacquiao I thought rounds 1 and 2 were clear, decisive Bradley rounds and was shocked when I came on ESB and read opinions stating that they felt Pacquiao dominated early and faded in the last few rounds. I thought his best round was 4 and that he stayed on point, not lessening as the fight went into the championship rounds.
But to answer the thread question: Bradley won a split decision over Pacquiao. So, Bradley REALLY won the fight.
I also scored all 3 fights to Marquez and thought Pac beat Bradley but had it closer than most, i had it 7-5 Pac
116-112 to Pacquiao with the middle part of the fight being dominated by Pacquiao when Bradley was hurt twice if I recall.
I scored Martinez/Williams I for Martinez, but I knew it was extremely tough scoring, and you could get a rational scorecard for Williams easily. I scored Dirrell/Froch for Dirrell. But I thought if you gave all the arguable rounds to Froch, you could rationally get a Froch scorecard, at a stretch. Even if I disagreed. I scored Marquez/Pac 3 for Marquez, but I knew the rounds were mostly competitive and if you gave Pac the benefit of the doubt on just enough rounds, maybe you get a very close Pac scorecard, rationally, even if I disagreed strongly and was disgusted by the decision. ...Pacquiao/Bradley was not a close fight. And there just isn't a justification for Bradley winning it, in my opinion. I don't just disagree with the scorecard. I don't think "Oh, well, no matter how much I disagree, there's a case." It's just a bad scorecard to me. And I have been big on Bradley for a longtime, and I have never been Pac's biggest fan. I simply don't think there's a case for a Bradley win. He was hurt, he proved how tough he is. He can take big shots, he had great head movement, and he can hang tough through adversity and injury like a warrior. I give him all of that. But Pacquiao was clearly more effective than Bradley in almost every round. I don't know what else to say.
The masses are asses. Open your eyes. PAC lost this fight. He underestimated Bradley. Looked totally gases by the end of the fight. He fought in spurts and couldn't sustain any kind of aggressive pace. Bradleypicked up the pace and outboxed and out worked PAC the last 4 rounds. Many of the early rds were close. PAC didn't dominate ****. This was the worst that I have seen him look.
